Reputation Scores Are Now Live

The vaults.fyi Reputation Score, a composite score designed to bring more transparency and clarity to onchain yields, is now live in the vaults.fyi app and API.

This score provides users another tool to help make informed decisions about DeFi yield vaults.

What is the Reputation Score?

The Reputation Score is a comprehensive metric that evaluates a vault's track record, history of its underlying protocol, and security of its underlying networks and tokens. It is designed to give users an easy-to-understand measure of a vault's reliability based on objective criteria. 

What the Reputation Score is NOT

It is NOT a risk score. It is NOT financial advice. It does NOT take into account smart contract audits or subjective criteria.

Where to Find the Reputation Score

• In the vaults.fyi app
  • Users can now see the Reputation Score directly on vault pages in the app, providing quick insights as they browse different vaults.
• Via the vaults.fyi API
  • For developers and advanced users, the Reputation Score is fully accessible through our API. Our Reputation Score data can be integrated directly into third party tools, analyses, and platforms.
• Users on our paid API plans can check out endpoints here for detailed vault data.

Our Methodology

The Reputation Score evaluates vaults across five weighted dimensions: Protocol Integrity, Pool Diagnostics, Community Adoption, Underlying Asset Reliability, and Underlying Blockchain Security.

What’s Next

We will soon be rolling out the Reputation Score to more vaults in our app, aiming to cover all of the 500+ vaults across more than 10 networks and >50 protocols on vaults.fyi.

In coming months, we will explore adding more features related to Reputation Scores, such as filtering on scores in the Discover page of our app.
